Topic #4 Memories

I really can't explain how much I enjoyed being here in America. A year and a half has just passed since I got here. In the beginning  I didn't have many friends and felt so lonely. But now I have more than 150 friends who I know them by name.

Everywhere here is beautiful, I had fun in every place I've been. Huntington Beach, Los Angeles, Palm Springs, and many other places. Especially with my friends. As we say: "A heaven without people doesn't worth a penny!".

I liked the American way of life, but it is so stressful. It's hard to have a balanced life here.

Here, I learned to be independent and don't count on others to do my things. Many times people had let me down, and I learned the lesson.

I loved my ESL class and classmates. They were very shy at the start but now, no one can keep them quite. LOL

I'm going to miss all of them and hope to see them one day in their countries.

Finally, I really would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to my wonderful teacher Mrs. Tong. You always inspire me with your kindness and your love to teach. I wish you all the best and hope to see you again.

  1. Thank You!! I enjoyed teaching all of you and will miss you when this class is over. You are very bright and I'm sure you will do well in the future. I think a big part of growing up and becoming mature is to be independent and to take responsibility for one's own action. Much of what happens to you is caused by the decisions you have made. Well, I'm glad to have met you and I'm glad you were in our class! :)
